Loose Leaf Collection and Preparations for Winter Control

Loose leaf collection will start on November 17th for Guelph residents. Residents are encouraged to recycle their leaves into their gardens and flowerbeds.  Residents with any remaining leaves after the scheduled pick up can bring them to the city’s Wet/Dry Plant in yard waste bags for disposal at no charge.

Youth shelter to open November 5

Starting November 5, 2008, 12 beds will be provided for youth who need them in a temporary shelter located at the former Delhi Community Centre.
