– The Guelph Youth Music Centre (GYMC) is proud to announce that three innovative and interactive arts day camps are set to start on July 14, 2008.
Parents are being encouraged to act fast, as there are only a few spots left!
The following is a list of what each camp has to offer:
The Vivaldi String Day Camp – This camp runs from July 14 to 18 and is open to violin, viola, cello and double bass players who wish to develop musical leadership skills and ensemble playing skills in a fun and challenging environment.
Tairy Fales Summer Arts Camp – Taking place from July 21 to August 1 children will be given the opportunity to experience traditional fairy tales with a new twist through participating in music, dance, storytelling, and arts and crafts activities. The camp is geared to children 6 to 10.
KidsArts Summer Camp – From July 21 to July 25 is KidsArts day camp. This creative arts camp is designed specifically for children with special needs and features music therapy, movement and sensory activities to enhance social and developmental skills.
